- 2006 CoSIDA Academic All-America (Third Team)
Bergeron, a finance major with a perfect 4.0 grade point average and third team CoSIDA Academic All-America choice, participated in nine tournaments in 2005-06, averaging 74.62 per round for the fourth-lowest average on his team. Named to the 2005-06 Southland Conference All-Academic team last month, Bergeron was an All-SLC first-teamer in 2003-04 and All-SLC second team and Freshman of the Year pick in 2002-03. The New Orleans native and Riverside Academy graduate was the 2003-04 SLC Student-Athlete of the Year in golf and was the 2002-03 SLC and LSWA Freshman of the Year.
