One of only seven two-time All-America selections in school history, Klein had 132 tackles (80 solo) in his senior season, helping the Lions to a 6-4 record - its first winning season in nine years. As a senior, Klein also forced three turnovers and broke up one pass. As a junior, Klein led his squad in tackles with 99 including 75 solo stops. He also tied for the team lead as a junior with two fumble recoveries and led the team with five recoveries as a sophomore.
