The Pinneberg, Germany native was tabbed honorable mention All-American in 2010 after leading SLU to a pair of tournament titles in the spring of 2010.

The two-time Southland Conference Golfer of the Month won the UTSA-Oak Hills Invitational and finished fifth at the University of Arkansas-Little Rock First Tee Invitational leading the Lions to tournament wins at both.

Westermann also posted a fourth place finish at the 2010 Southland Conference Championships as SLU claim the title. The freshman was also rated as the top freshman in the country by GolfStat and ranked 29th overall.
