Hankins finished the 2004 regular season as the I-AA national leader in passing yards (4,240), completions (357), attempts (540), total offense (383.7 ypg) and touchdown passes (35). His passing yardage ranks as the fifth-highest total in I-AA history and is only the 10th time a passer has thrown for over 4,000 yards.
