Hebert was the Lions' leading hitter and base stealer. He has sixth-highest stolen base (36) total in the nation and finished one shy of tying the school career record (71). The junior from Bourg, La., hit .374 with two home runs and 37 RBIs. He scored 58 runs, tops in the Southland, and was named the conference's hitter of the year and player of the year.
