The right-hander from Denham Springs, Louisiana, led the Lions with six saves to go along with a 3-2 record and 2.45 ERA. Sceroler appeared in 19 games, all in relief, surrendering just 17 hits and five walks in 29.1 innings pitched. He fanned 26 batters.

Five times over the course of the season Sceroler worked multiple scoreless innings, including a career-high 3.1 innings to earn the extra-innings win against McNeese State in the Southland Conference Tournament. He also earned victories against Jackson State and Northwestern.

Sceroler earned the first save of his career with 2.2 scoreless innings at South Alabama (March 11). He picked up three saves in conference play, nailing down victories over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Northwestern State and Lamar. In other non-conference action he help clinch big Lion wins over UL Lafayette and Utah.
