A senior left-hander, Cedotal excelled on the mound for Southeastern in 2015, compiling a 9-2 record and 2.08 ERA. The southpaw fanned 95 batters in 99.2 innings pitched, holding opponents to a .219 batting average. He finished with the second-most wins and third-most strikeouts in the Southland Conference.

The southpaw from Denham Springs, Louisiana, was also named a Louisville Slugger National Player of the Week by Collegiate Baseball newspaper last season following a near no-hitter against Abilene Christian.
