Corbett earned second team The Sports Network and third team Associated Press All-America honors. The first team All-Southland Conference selection led a Lion defense that ranked atop the Southland in scoring (17.7 points per game allowed) and total (293.2 yards per game allowed) defense. Corbett led the Lions with 12.0 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks and four interceptions to go with 72 tackles.
