Southeastern Athletics Hall of Fame
Robin Roberts is one of Southeastern's most famous graduates and her honors include being named Alumnus of the Year and also serving as commencement speaker. A sportscaster for ESPN where she won three Emmys in broadcasting, she also served as co-anchor of Good Morning America, ABC’s morning show. She received a Silver Anniversary award from the NCAA. In 2007, she authored a book “From the Heart: Seven Rules to Live By.” Roberts ranks as one of only four Lady Lions to have both over 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds.
She was named of the NCAA's 100 Most Influential Athletes in 2006 and awarded the WNBA Inspiration Award in 2007. In June 2012, she was inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame.
