Nodhturft played for the Lion baseball team in 1996 and 1997. A member of Southeastern’s All-Decade Team for the 1990’s, he ranks among the school career leaders with a .356 batting average and 31 home runs. An ABCA All-Region, first team All-TAAC and first team All-Louisiana selection in 1997, Nodhturft’s final-season totals of a .376 batting average, 18 home runs and 67 RBI all are among the highest single-season totals in program history.
