Province was a standout closer for the Lions from 2004-07. The 2006-07 Southeastern Male Athlete of the Year, he was a fourth-round draft pick by the Boston Red Sox. A member of the SLU 2000’s All-Decade Team, Province had 14 career saves – including eight as a senior.
