Southeastern Athletics Hall of Fame
E.L. "Ned" McGehee led Southeastern to its first-ever perfect season as head coach of the 1946 football team that finished 9-0. McGehee coached the Lions for five seasons and was a long-time Athletic Director for Southeastern retiring in 1971. He is one of the most beloved figures in Southeastern Athletic history. In tribute to his legacy at Southeastern, a street - E.L. "Ned" McGehee Drive - on campus was dedicated in his honor in 2012.
