Monty Crook was a dominating defensive performer from 1959-62 for Southeastern. In his junior and senior seasons, he was an honorable mention selection on the Williamson Mid-Bracket All-American team. As a senior, he was also an All-Gulf States Conference selection and was named the team's Most Valuable Player.
