Took part in eight meets during the season, racing in distances ranging from 800 meters to the 10K... Ran his only 800-meter run and best 1,500 meter run at the Strawberry Relays, finishing the 800 meters in 2:05.82 and 1,500 meters in 4:11.08... Fastest time in the one mile came at the LSU Twilight indoor meet, stopping the clock at 4:36.92... Ran the 3,000-meter run at the Vulcan Invitational at Alabama-Birmingham in 9:19.10... Lone 10K of the season was at the SLC Outdoor Championships, finishing in 36:22.56... Ran as part of the Distance Medley Relay team for the Lions at the SLC Indoor Championships, helping SLU earn a point in the competition with an eighth-place finish... Named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll.
Sophomore Season (2024):
Competed in nine meets for the Lions during the season... Set two season bests at the Southland Conference Outdoor Championships, running a 16:36.70 in the 5,000-meter run & a 35:35.23 in the 10,000-meter run... Set another season best at the SLC Indoor Championships, finishing the 3,000-meter run in 9:21.78... Quickest mile of the season came at the LSU Twilight indoor meet, stopping the clock in 4:35.69... Best time in the 1,500-meter run came at the Louisiana Classics in Lafayette, crossing the line in 4:13.70... Named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll.
Freshman Season (2023):
Competed in six meets in his first season with the Lions... Made debut for SLU at the Birmingham-Southern Indoor Icebreaker where he ran the mile & 3,000-meter run... Ran his quickest 3,000-meter run of the season at the BSC Indoor Icebreaker by crossing the line in 10:23.33... Best time in the one-mile run came at the McNeese Indoor #2, stopping the clock in 5:03.89... Best time in his two attempts at the 1,500-meter run was 4:42.10 at the Louisiana Classics in Lafayette.
Prior to Southeastern:
Prepped at St. Thomas Aquinas Regional Catholic High in Hammond... Was on the cross country & track & field teams for the Falcons... Was a three-year captain for both teams... Was named district MVP & ran a personal best in the state championship meet... Finished ninth in the state 1,600-meter race in 2022... Also a member of the National Honor Society.

Born April 7, 2004 in Hammond... Son of Johnny & Melissa Schillage, who both attended SLU... Has two younger brothers, Drew & Will... Hobbies include fishing, sleeping, traveling, running, being with family & friends, & watching movies... Most exciting athletic event he's witnessed was seeing the New Orleans Saints win the Super Bowl... Majors in sports management at SLU.
