Best mark of the season was a throw of 37.87 meters (124'3") at the Southern Mississippi Invitational, which also was her best individual finish of the season, coming in third... Came in 12
th at the SLC Outdoor Championships in the javelin competition... Named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll.
Freshman Season (2023):
Competed in four meets during her freshman campaign, all during the outdoor season to compete in the javelin competitions... Best overall finish was a third place finish in the Southern Mississippi Invitational... Longest throw of the season was 31.08 meters (102'0") at the Southland Conference Outdoor Championships.
Prior to Southeastern:
Prepped at Hammond Magnet High School... Was on the track & field, volleyball, & swim teams for the Tornadoes... Was a captain for both the track & field & swim teams... Was also a member of the Beta Club & National Honor Society.
Personal:
Born August 26, 2004 in Baton Rouge, La... Daughter of Matt & Amber Babin... Has two younger sisters, Gracie & Lanie... Her mom, Amber, was her volleyball coach at Hammond High... Likes to bake, play the piano, & swim... Biggest sports thrill is watching volleyball... Enjoying watching previous javelin throwers from SLU... Majors in kinesiology at SLU.
