Freshman Season (2024):
Competed in five meets for the Lions in his first collegiate season, all during outdoor season in the javelin throw competition... Made debut for the Lions at the Louisiana Classics... Season best javelin throw came at the Southland Conference Outdoor Championships, covering 49.28 meters (161'8")... Named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll.

Prior to Southeastern:
Prepped at Ponchatoula High School... Was a member of the track & field team for the Green Wave... Earned All-Academic honors during high school... Competed in the javelin throw... Personal best javelin in high school was 161'4"... Was also a member of the National Honor Society & Interact Club.

Personal:
Born June 3, 2005 in Hammond... Son of Jeremy & Jennifer Harper... Has an older sister, Abby... Biggest sports thrill is setting a new personal record... Most exciting athletic event he's witnessed was being at a Houston Astros game where a no-hitter was thrown... Majors in biology at SLU.
