Freshman Season (2025):
Competed in seven meets during his first season of competition as a Lion... Started his season with his fastest time of the year in two competitions, the 60-meter sprint (6.90 seconds) and 600-meter dash (1:22.67) at the LSU Purple Tiger... Had his fastest time in the 400-meter dash of the year at the SLC Indoor Championships when he stopped the clock in 52.49 seconds... Quickest time in the 200-meter dash came at the SLC Outdoor Championships when he stopped the clock in 21.71 seconds... Was also part of the SLU 4x400-meter relay team in four competitions during the season, including both SLC Championship meets... Fastest team time in the 4x400 during the season was 3:10.00 at the SLC Outdoor Championships... Named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll.

Prior to Southeastern:
Spent his high school years at Abeke Primary School in his native Nigeria... Competed in the African Games where he won a bronze medal in the 4x400-meter relay for Team Nigeria.

Personal:
Born January 16, 1998 in Kano, Nigeria... Son of Igho & Isioma Atinaya... Has two older siblings, Abraham & Titus... Majors in political science at Southeastern.
