Competed in nine meets during the season, running in the long distances ranging from 1,500 meters to 10K... Raced in two 1,500-meter runs with her best time being 4:54.49 at the Strawberry Relays... Only one mile run of the season was at the LSU Purple Tiger indoor meet, where she finished in 5:30.46... Quickest 3K time was 10:25.91 at the LSU Alumni Gold outdoor meet... Lone 5K and 10K races of the season took place at the SLC Outdoor Championships, completing the 5K in 19:15.90 and the 10K in 41:26.49... Named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll.
Freshman Season (2024):
Competed in 11 meets in her first season... Made her debut for the SLU track & field team at the LSU Purple Tiger meet, competing in the 3,000-meter run... Only one-mile run she competed in during the season was at the LSU Twilight indoor meet, finishing in 5:19.87... Quickest 3,000-meter run of the season came at the Southland Conference Indoor Championships, crossing the line in 10:36.75... Fastest 5,000-meter run of the season came at the Louisiana Classics in Lafayette, stopping the clock in 18:10.43... Ran her best time of the year in the 1,500-meter run at the Strawberry Relays, coming home in 4:53.75... Picked up points for the Lady Lions in her only 10,000-meter run of the year at the SLC Outdoor Championships, finishing fourth in a time of 41:25.65... Also competed as part of the distance medley relay team at the SLC Indoor Championships... Named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll.
Prior to Southeastern:
Prepped at Walker High School... Ran track & cross country for the Wildcats... was a captain of the cross country team for her last two years... Ran the 1,600-meter & 3,200-meter races for the WHS track team... Personal best in the three mile race was 18:51... Was named the winner of Walker's Glenn Ellis Award... Served as the Fellowship of Christian Athletes leader for both squads.

Born May 5, 2005 in Baton Rouge, La... Daughter of Scott & Heather Pitarro... Has a younger brother, Rhett... Her father, Scott, & uncle, Brad, both played baseball for SLU... Enjoys hunting, fishing, going to church, & being with family... Biggest sports thrill is running cross country... Majors in biology at SLU.
