Sophomore Season (2025):
Competed in 10 meets during the season for the Lions, racing in all distances ranging from 60-meters to 800-meters... Opened the season with his fastest 60-meter time of the season at 7.39 seconds at the LSU Purple Tiger... Set a personal best in the 600-meter dash with a time of 1:19.68 at the Lurline Hamilton Invitational at LSU... Ran his fastest 200-meter dash to date at the Pelican Relays at Southern University when he crossed the line in 22.54 seconds... Quickest time in the 800-meter dash came at the New Orleans Triangular with a time of 1:56.80... Ran in both the 4x400-meter relay and Distance Medley Relay at the SLC Indoor Championships while racing as part of the 4x400-meter relay team again at the SLC Outdoor Championships.
Freshman Season (2024):
Appeared in 11 meets for the Lions in his first season in Hammond... Made season debut at the LSU Purple Tiger indoor meet, running the 60-meter sprint & 600-meter run... Ran only 200-meter dash of the season at the Samford Open, finishing in 23.46 seconds... Ran fastest 60-meter sprint at the LSU Twilight indoor meet, crossing the line in 7.50 seconds... Ran the 400-meter dash, 4x400-meter relay, & distance medley relay at the SLC Indoor Championships... Fastest 400-meter dash time came at the LSU Alumni Gold outdoor meet, finishing in 48.72 seconds... Quickest 600-meter run time was at the Keyth Talley Invitational, finishing in 1:21.12... Best 800-meter time was achieved at the Pelican Relays at Southern University, crossing the line in 1:56.88... Ran the 400-meter run, 4x100-meter relay, & 4x400-meter relay at the SLC Outdoor Championships.
Prior to Southeastern:
Prepped at Scotlandville Magnet High in Baton Rouge... Was a three-year captain for the Hornets, from 2021 to 2023... Ran a 48.50 in the 400-meter dash.
Personal:
Born August 20, 2004 in Minden, Louisiana... Son of Antoine Gray & Candace Anding... Has three siblings - Aniyah, Aidan, & Jayden... Enjoys riding horses, participating in rodeos, & taking part in trail rides... Biggest sports thrill is making a big play on defense in football or coming back to win a tight race on the track... Most exciting athletic event he ever witnessed was holding off a late comeback to win a relay race... Majors in criminal justice at SLU.
