Best throw in the weight throw competition went 15.05 meters (49'4.5") at the SLC Indoor Championships... Top toss in the discus throw took place at the Pelican Relays outdoor meet, hosted by Southern, launching the discus 49.87 meters (163'7')... Furthest distance achieved in the hammer throw came at the SLC Outdoor Championships with a throw of 47.58 meters (156'1")... Longest throw in the shot put was 14.97 meters (49'1.5") at the Lurline Hamilton Invitational at LSU... Named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll.
Sophomore Season (2024):
Competed in 10 meets during the season... Longest weight throw came at the LSU Twilight indoor meet, covering 13.50 meters (44'3.5")... Furthest throw in the discus throw came at the Southern Miss Invitational, landing 47.16 meters (154'9") away... Best throw in the shot put came in the Louisiana Classics in Lafayette, going 13.52 meters (44'4.25")... Named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll.
Freshman Season (2023):
Competed in 11 meets in his first season at Southeastern... First meet as a Lion came at the Birmingham-Southern Indoor Icebreaker... Had his season best shot put at the LSU Purple Tiger with a 15.05 meter (49'4.5") throw... Best discus throw of the season came at the Southland Conference Outdoor Championships with a toss of 46.40 meters (152'3")... Named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll.
Prior to Southeastern:
Prepped at Lafayette Christian Academy...Was on the track & field & football teams for the Knights... Won the 2022 state championship in shot put for both indoor & outdoor competition... Also won the outdoor discus state championship in 2022... High school personal bests were 51'0" in shot put & 170'8" in discus... Named a team captain for the LCA football team... Was part of three state champion football teams... Named All-District, All-metro, & All-State First Team in football in both 2020 & 2021... Was also in theater for a year.

Born October 3, 2003 in Lafayette, La.... Son of Jay & Teresa Miller... Has four siblings - Jay, Jr., Regan, Jansen, & Britt... Father, Jay, Sr., played collegiate basketball while brothers Jay, Jr., & Regan both played collegiate football...Hobbies include playing sports, listening to music, & learning... Biggest sports thrill was playing against Vermilion Catholic... Majors in business administration at SLU.
