Competed in seven meets in his first collegiate season, racing in 1,500 meters, mile, 3,000 meters, and the steeplechase... Best time in the 1,500 meters came at the Pelican Relays at Southern University where he posted a time of 4:18.70... Quickest time in the mile came at the LSU Twilight indoor meet, finishing in 4:35.22... Finished one 3K race, clocking a time of 9:21.32 at the Vulcan Invitational hosted by Alabama-Birmingham... Best time in the 3K steeplechase was 10:37.83 at the SLC Outdoor Championships... Named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll.
Prior to Southeastern:
Prepped at Jesuit High in New Orleans... Was on the soccer, cross country, & track & field teams for the Blue Jays... Was part of the 4x800-meter relay team which won the district championship during his junior season... Personal best in the three mile run was 15:57, two mile run personal best was 9:57, and 2:05 was his fastest time in the 800-meter run... Was awarded the letterman award for leadership, sportsmanship, & spirit.

Born October 3, 2005 in Dallas, Texas... Son of Toby & Tara Salsman... His mom, Tara, is a Southeastern alum... Has a younger sister, Addison... Likes to read, learn about history, & watch movies... Biggest sports thrill was winning the 4x800-meter district championship... Most exciting athletic event he's witnessed was watching Chelsea win the UEFA Champions League in 2021... Majors in engineering at Southeastern.
