Britt Gautreaux before an RBI grounder by Hebert drove Hargis and gave the Lions a 1-0 lead.

Josh Cryer and scored on an RBI grounder by
Joe Sparacino.

Trey Martin with an RBI single up the middle, extending his hitting streak to 20 games, and Boudreaux followed with a sacrifice fly off UCA starter Ryan Angus.
Tyler Watkins pitched 6.1 innings and scattered five hits and allowed an earned run for the Lions before being replaced by Janway in the seventh. Angus pitched eight innings for the Bears, scattering eight hits and allowing four runs before Andy Steinmetz and Payne pitched four scoreless innings and allowing one hit.
Hebert led Southeastern at the plate going 3-for-6. Boudreaux went 2-for-4 for the Lions, which tallied nine hits and stranded six runners.
