Biography

2010 (Junior): Hit .223 for the season with five doubles and 22 RBI … finished second in the Southland Conference in HBP (19) to teammate Josh Cryer … recorded second-highest on-base percentage (.457) and stolen base totals (15 in 19 attempts) on the team … led team with 12 sacrifice bunts … had four multi-hit games … drove in a pair of runs in series opener at Mississippi State … went 8-for-16 over a six-game stretch against Sam Houston State and Stephen F. Austin during which he doubled twice, scored 10 runs (four in SFA finale), and picked up six RBI.

2009 (Sophomore): Played in 27 games as a reserve outfielder and pinch-runner in his first season with the Lions … hit .188 with 11 runs scored and three RBI … collected hits against Mississippi Valley, Jackson State and Alcorn State … went 1-for-2 with a double and scored twice against Jackson State … drove in runs against Sacred Heart, Mississippi Valley and Alcorn State.

Junior College: Hit .340 and stole 20 bases in his only season at Jefferson State Community College.

High School: A three-sport athlete at Wetumpka High, lettering in football, basketball and baseball ... earned all-metro and all-county honors at Wetumpka and finished his high school career with a .360 batting average and 25 steals ... captained the basketball team for two seasons and was a member of the National Honor Society.
