2010 Second Team Academic All-Southland Conference (Pitcher)

2010 (Junior): Posted a 6-3 record and a 3.80 earned run average … tied for most innings pitched (90.0) and second on the team with 59 strikeouts … received a no-decision despite allowing one earned run on five hits over 7.1 innings pitched at Mississippi State … picked up first win as a Lion against Louisiana-Lafayette allowing two earned runs over five innings in a starting effort … struck out a season-high seven batters at McNeese State in 5.2 innings pitched … recorded first save as a Lion with three scoreless innings against Southern … picked up a win in relief at Nicholls State with 5.2 scoreless innings … earned the win at Stephen F. Austin with a complete-game effort, allowing just one unearned run.

2009: Redshirt season.

Junior College: Spent two seasons at Pearl River (Miss.) Community College ... went 8-5 and led the team with a 1.76 ERA as a sophomore ... struck out 81 batters and allowed just 20 walks in 81.0 innings pitched.

High School: Won two letters as a third baseman and pitcher at Petal High School ... named to the first teams in the all-area, all-district and Class 6A All-State categories as a senior ... led the district in ERA and was named most valuable pitcher in the district in his senior season ... went 10-2 with a 1.23 ERA in a school-record 22 appearances as a senior.
