HAMMOND, La. – Connor Cuff,
Alex Perry and
Peyton Woods represented back-to-back Southland Conference Champion Southeastern Louisiana University on the 2026 All-Louisiana baseball squad, the Louisiana Sports Writers Association announced Saturday.
A second-team selection, Cuff finished the year with a late-season offensive surge. The native of Carthage, Texas wrapped up his junior season hitting .301 with 15 doubles, one triple, 16 home runs and 51 RBIs, ranking in the conference's Top 5 for OPS (1.019), Slugging Percentage (.612), Doubles, Home Runs and RBIs. Cuff has also earned Southland All-Tournament and All-Academic honors in 2026.
The Southland's home run champion, Perry earned first-team honors from the sportswriters. The redshirt senior from McComb, Mississippi hit .274 with 11 doubles, 17 homers and 50 RBI. He also scored 54 runs while ranking in the conference's Top 10 for Slugging Percentage (.589), RBIs and OPS (.963). Perry adds the All-State nod to the All-Conference and All-Defensive honors he claimed following the regular season.
A first-team selection, Woods hit .358 with six home runs and 27 RBIs on his way to leading the Southland in both batting average and on-base percentage (.465) this season. The junior from Albany, Louisiana was previously named the conference Hitter of the Year, in addition to picking up All-Conference and All-Academic honors from the Southland.
