High School: A Top-1000 player nationally and the No. 5 catcher in the state of Louisiana according to Perfect Game … two-time All-District performer at Comeaux HS in Lafayette, Louisiana … hit .443 with 19 doubles, two triples and four home runs … threw out 71.1 percent of runners attempting to steal … named Daily Advertiser Player of the Week (March 16, 2016) after going 12-for-18 at the plate with six doubles, one home run and six RBIs, threw out three runners from behind the dish and struck out 10 batters in 14 innings of work on the mound … hit .351 with eight doubles, one home run and 29 RBIs as a junior … also led the team in wins and innings pitched … member of the National Honor Society.
