2018 [JUNIOR]: Appeared in 35 games, starting 25 … produced a .229 / .373 / .423 slash line of batting average / slugging percentage / on-base percentage … 19-for-83 at the plate with three doubles and three home runs … scored 29 runs and drove in another 11 … walked 12 times, hit by a pitch 12 times and struck out 20 times … stole 16 bases in 20 attempts, ranking third on a team that finished third nationally with a program-record 136 steals … his stolen base total ranked second nationally among catchers … produced four multi-hit games … drove in multiple runs twice … threw out one-third of the runners attempting to steal against him … played summer ball for the Port Angeles (Wash.) Lefties of the West Coast League along with Lion teammates Trey Morgan and Kyle Schimpf … the three Southeastern players helped save the life of a Canadian woman, pulling her from a burning car … member of the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

2017 [SOPHOMORE]: Appeared in 35 games, starting 26 … hit .169 with two doubles, two triples and one home run … scored 15 runs and drove in 10  … stole four bases (five attempts) … drew 16 walks and five HBP, striking out 21 times … recorded a .286 slugging percentage and .337 on-base percentage …  hit .429 (3-for-7) with the bases loaded … turned in multi-hit performances against South Alabama (3/14) and Alcorn State (4/25) … drove in a pair of runs against Lamar (3/17) … reached bases in 10-consecutive games (2/18-3/18) … named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

2016 [FRESHMAN]: Appeared in five games, starting one … hit .333 with one home run and five RBIs … scored four runs … walked twice and was hit by a pitch to produce a .500 on-base percentage … delivered RBI in collegiate debut with a sacrifice fly against Alcorn State (Feb. 24) … smashed a grand slam for first home run of his career in the Lions’ 21-0 win over Alcorn (March 30) … named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four letters in baseball and two in football at Zachary HS … hit .485 with seven home runs and 48 RBIs as a senior … earned All-State, All-Metro and All-District honors … hit .323 as a junior … picked up All-District honors as a sophomore and the District 4-5A Gold Glove.

PERSONAL: Born Evan Michael Pace in Baton Rouge, Louisiana … son of Tommy and D'nean Pace … has three siblings, Blake, Lane and Mason … father played baseball at LSU … brother Mason throws the javelin for Louisiana Tech track and field squad … enjoys hunting, fishing and playing volleyball … majoring in general studies.
