2016 (Junior): Started 40 games … hit .283 with five doubles, two triples and seven home runs … scored 25 runs and drove in another 42 … stole four bases … second on the team in RBIs and slugging percentage (.500) … third in home runs and sac flies (4) … turned in nine multi-hit and 14 multi-RBI performances … produced a seven-game hitting streak (March 8-20) … hit .429 (12-for-28) leading off an inning, .500 (2-for-4) as a pinch hitter, and .611 (11-for-18) with a runner at third and less than two outs … his 20 two-out RBIs led the club … homered and tied a career high with five RBIs in the Lions’ 10-0 Southland Conference Tournament win over rival McNeese … earned All-Conference, All-Tournament and All-Academic honors from the Southland … named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

2015 (Sophomore): Appeared in 33 games, starting 21 … hit .289 for the season with three doubles, one triple, two home runs and 11 RBIs … hit .667 (2-for-3) with the bases loaded, .364 (8-for-22) with two outs, 1.000 (3-for-3) with a runner at third and less than two outs and .455 (5-for-11) as a pinch hitter … produced six multi-hit performances, including a 3-hit game against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (3/22) … knocked the first two home runs of his career against Northwestern State (4/3) … compiled three multi-RBI performances.

2014 (Freshman): Appeared in 15 games, starting four … hit .174 with one double and three RBIs … scored three runs … picked up first collegiate hit and stolen base against George Washington (2/21) … went 2-for-6 with a pair of RBIs and runs scored against Grambling State (2/26) … compiled a three-game hitting streak (2/21-2/26) … started a pair of games at first base and a pair as the designated hitter.

High School: Earned four letters in baseball and one for wrestling at Prattville (Ala.) Christian Academy … two-time baseball team captain … hit .375 as a senior with a pair of home runs and was named a Rawlings High School All-American (honorable mention) for the Southeast Region.

Personal: Born John Webb Bobo in Montgomery, Ala. … son of John and Anna Bobo …  has two younger sisters, Joy and Bell … enjoys frisbee golf, tubing and riding dirt bikes … majoring in kinesiology.
