MOBILE, Ala. – After a decisive win over in-state rival Tulane in its home opener on Tuesday, the Southeastern Louisiana University baseball team returns to action on Friday when it faces SEC opponent Alabama in the South Alabama Classic, hosted by South Alabama, at Stanky Field.
First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m. Fans can listen to audio, provided by the Crimson Tide Network, at www.LionSports.net. After facing Alabama (4-0) in the opener, Southeastern (3-1) will face Conference USA opponent UCF (4-0) on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. before battling Sun Belt Conference foe South Alabama (4-0) on Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
Southeastern posted a 13-1 victory over Tulane in its home opener on Tuesday before an announced crowd of 1,706. The Lions got home runs from

Tyler Watkins (1-0, 0.00 ERA) will start in Sunday's finale against South Alabama.

After competing in the South Alabama Classic, Southeastern will close out a stretch of playing seven of its first eight games away from home on Tuesday when it visits nationally-ranked LSU in a 6:30 p.m. contest at Alex Box Stadium.
