Competed in 10 meets for the Lions... Made collegiate debut at the Samford Open in the 800-meter run & 4x400-meter relay... Competed in his only 60-meter sprint of the season at the LSU Twilight indoor meet, stopping the clock in 7.25 seconds... Quickest 800-meter run came at the Southland Conference Indoor Championships, stopping the clock in 1:55.23... Best 600-meter run came at the Keyth Talley Invitational, finishing in 1:21.84... Ran his best 400-meter dash at the Strawberry Relays, stopping the clock in 50.68 seconds... Also competed in two 4x800-meter relays as well as a distance medley relay... Named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll.

Prior to Southeastern:
Prepped at Scotlandville Magnet High in Baton Rouge... Ran track & field for the Hornets... Won a state championship.

Born September 8, 2005 in Ruston, La.... Son of Allen & Jacqueline Whitaker... Has a younger sister, Allyson... Father, Allen, played football at Louisiana Tech... Enjoys playing basketball... Most exciting athletic event he's seen was an Oklahoma City Thunder playoff game... Majors in health sciences at SLU.
