HAMMOND, La. – Southeastern Louisiana will honor its four seniors as the Lady Lions finish up their 2015-16 home schedule against Central Arkansas in Southland Conference action Saturday at 1 p.m. in the University Center.
   
    The game between the Lady Lions (4-22, 3-12) and Sugar Bears (23-3, 13-2) will be broadcast on KSLU-FM (90.9).  Live stats will be available at www.LionSports.net.
   
    Senior guards 
Peaches Anderson, 
KaeLynn Boyd and 
Erica Hernandez and forward 
Nanna Pool will be honored prior to the game. 
   
    Pool will also be Saturday's Spotlight Player of the Game and the first 100 fans will receive a trading card featuring the Magnolia, Mississippi native courtesy of PRIDE.
   
    Southeastern will also host Take A Kid to the Game Day. All youths aged 12 and under will receive free admission with the purchase of an adult ticket. 
   
    Southeastern will be trying to stay in the chase for next month's Southland Conference Tournament. The Lady Lions head into the final three games of the season 2 1/2 games behind Lamar (10-17, 6-10) for the eighth and final spot into the tournament following a 73-58 loss to Northwestern State on Thursday.
   
    Central Arkansas, meanwhile, can clinch the top seed in the Southland Conference Tournament with a win on Saturday. The Sugar Bears trail Abilene Christian by a game for the conference lead but the Wildcats are ineligible for the tournament as they transition into Division I.
   
    Central Arkansas has already clinched a double-bye in the tournament following its fourth-straight win, 72-53 over Sam Houston State on Wednesday. The Sugar Bears took over early, taking an 18-11 lead at the end of the first quarter and a 33-22 advantage.
   
    Southeastern dropped its third straight to Northwestern State on Thursday. The Lady Lions held a 10-point first-quarter lead but the Lady Demons rallied behind a school record-tying 14 3-pointers to pull out the win.
   
    Sophomore guard 
Taylin Underwood provided one highlight of the evening for the Lady Lions, hitting four 3-pointers to set the school single-season record. She now has 69 on the season, breaking Brooke Necaise's record of 66 set in 2007-08.
   
    Pool recorded her fourth straight double-double and 12th of the season with 21 points and 14 rebounds. Underwood finished with 10 points. Boyd had a career-high 10 rebounds to go with eight assists and four points while freshman forward 
Kyle Felton blocked three shots.
   
    Pool moved up to ninth in the Southland with 14.9 points per game while ranking second in field goal percentage (.516), third in rebounding (9.2 rpg) and fourth in blocked shots (1.2 bpg). Underwood is 14th in scoring (13.6 ppg) and fourth in 3-pointers made (2.7 per game).
   
    Boyd (11.8 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 86 assists, 32 steals), Hernandez (7.0 ppg, 41 assists, .348 3-point percentage) and Felton (4.1 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 16 blocks) are expected to join Pool and Underwood in the starting lineup.
   
    The Lady Lions are eighth in the league in averaging 63.6 points per game while allowing an average of 80.0.
   
    Southeastern will be going against a Central Arkansas defense which leads the Southland in allowing 50.7 points per game on a league-best 35.4 percent from the field. Offensively, the Sugar Bears are tied for fifth in the league with 64.8 points per game while shooting 42.4 percent from the field, second-best in the conference. The Sugar Bears are third in the league in both 3-point (35.2) and free throw (73.7) percentage.
   
    UCA leads the conference with a plus-7.8 rebounding margin, ranking fourth with 39.3 rebounds a game. The Sugar Bears are also averaging 14.3 assists, 6.9 steals, 3.4 blocks and 14.6 turnovers (plus-1.0, tied for league lead).
   
    Junior guard Maggie Proffitt is 10th in the league in averaging 14.5 points per game and is second in field goal percentage (.910). Junior guard Brianna Mullins is averaging 10.0 points per game while ranking fourth in the league in assists (94, 3.6 apg).
   
    Sophomore forward Taylor Baudoin, the reigning Southland Player of the Week, is averaging 9.6 points and is 12th in the league with 6.3 rebounds per game. Junior center Raquel Logan is fifth in blocked shots (1.2 bpg) and 11th in rebounds (6.4 rpg) while averaging 5.4 points. Senior forward Kendara Watts is scoring 7.7 points per game while senior guard Jameka Watkins (5.0 ppg) leads the Southland in assist/turnover ratio (2.5) and is sixth in assists (93).
   
    The Sugar Bears shot 54.5 percent against Sam Houston, their second highest mark of the season. Junior center Taylor Strickland had a season-high 14 points. Watts also had 14. Baudoin had her team-best fourth double-double of the season with 12 points and 13 rebounds while Watkins added nine points and a career-high 12 assists.
