CHOUDRANT, La. – Logan Kuehn shot an even par 72 to lead the Southeastern Louisiana men's golf team Monday in the second round of the Jim Rivers Intercollegiate Tournament at Squire Creek Country Club.

Kuehn, a junior, opened the second round with a birdie on a 388-yard par 4. The Lake Charles, Louisiana native scuffled briefly bogeying three of the next six holes. The St. Louis Catholic grad rallied nicely shooting a -2 over the final 11 holes including seven pars, three birdies and a bogey. He currently sits at +3 for the tournament going into the final round.

"Logan had a good day," said SLU golf head coach Jake Narro. "I hated to see him bogey the final hole because he really played well enough to shoot under par. But we need a better performance from the team collectively moving forward."

SLU's Kris Kerr and Lance Yates both finished the second round with a 76 (+4) while Connor Wilson finished with a 77 (+5).

Southeastern is tied for 11th place going into Tuesday's final round which begins at 8 a.m.
