Marsh, Dorr Lead SLU at Southland Championships

Southeastern sits in sixth heading into Wednesday's final round

KERRVILLE, Texas – Southeastern Louisiana University's Griffin Dorr and David Marsh both sit in the top 10 after second round play at the Southland Conference Championships wrapped up Tuesday evening at Comanche Trace.
 
Behind the play of Dorr and Marsh, SLU (+17) sits in sixth place heading into Wednesday's final round. UIW (-2) holds a four-stroke lead with 18 holes remaining.
 
Dorr currently sits in sixth place at even-par through 36 holes. Marsh is in a four-way tie for ninth place at two-over par after carding rounds of 71 and 75 Tuesday.
 
Landen East (+7, T26th), Noah Bumgarner (+8, T29th) and Patrick Blaum (+11, T33rd) made up the remainder of the starting five for the Lions. UIW's Joel Talusen (-9) holds a commanding seven-stroke lead in the individual standings with one round remaining.
 
Southeastern will be partnered with HCU and New Orleans for Wednesday's final round. Coverage from the 18th hole will be televised on ESPN+ and live scoring will be accessible via the men's golf schedule page at www.LionSports.net.
