KERRVILLE, Texas – After carding a 68 in the final round, Southeastern Louisiana University freshman
David Marsh finished second in the Southland Conference Championships, which wrapped up Wednesday at Comanche Trace.
The freshman from Baton Rouge, La. capped an impressive debut season in Hammond with the low round of the day Wednesday. His four-under par showing over the final 18 holes put him at two-under par – four strokes behind individual medalist Joel Talusen of UIW.
Southeastern finished seventh for the day, posting a 54-hole score of 889 (+25). UTRGV rallied past UIW to take the tournament title, finishing two-over par for the week to best the Cardinals by one stroke.

Marsh was third among the field on par-three holes (-1) and tied for fourth in the tournament with 11 birdies. Dorr was one of three players in the tournament to record multiple eagles.
