HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana women's tennis team will close out its pre-Southland Conference schedule on Tuesday, hosting Alcorn State at 2 p.m. at the Southeastern Tennis Complex.
Southeastern (3-1) has opened the spring with wins over LSU-Alexandria, Jackson State and Southern before suffering its first loss of the season last Friday at South Alabama. Alcorn State comes to Hammond with a 1-7 overall record.
In singles play, junior
Fleur Holtkamp leads the team with a 3-1 singles record and is joined above junior
Madina Vorotnikova (2-1). Juniors
Dalina Dahlmans,
Natalie Duran and
Dany Raygadas were each 2-2 in singles play.
In doubles play, Holtkamp and Dahlmans have remained perfect as a tandem. The Lion duo is a perfect 4-0 on the No. 1 doubles court.
Alcorn State is led in singles play by Marlene Maier (2-3) and Anastasia Vaganova (2-4). The Lady Braves are a combined 2-17 in doubles matches this spring.
Following Tuesday's contest, Southeastern will open Southland Conference play on Saturday with a 12 p.m. match at McNeese.
