HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University women's tennis team will participate in the Southland Conference Fall Masters this week at the Jack Fisher Tennis Complex on the Northwestern State University campus.
 
Southeastern will be represented in singles play by Panatchakorn Suanarsa. Suanarsa shared the individual title at last week's Dillard Invitational in the "A" singles bracket. The Nakhonsawan, Thailand native was 13-7 last spring and will face UIW's Estefania Gonzalez in Thursday's first round at 3 p.m.
 
Fresh off winning the doubles title at the Dillard Invitational, the SLU duo of Bente Bierma and Paige Duncan will represent the Lions in the doubles bracket. Bierma and Duncan are set to face Gonzalez and Ine' Lamprecht of UIW in the first round Thursday at 11 a.m.
 
Friday's doubles semifinals are set for 11 a.m. with the singles semifinal matches scheduled for 3 p.m. The doubles final starts at 9 a.m. Saturday with first serve for the singles final set for 11:30 a.m.
 
Following this week's action, SLU will return to action at the Joe Pyburn Invitational, set for Oct. 31-Nov. 2 in Beaumont, Texas.
