FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The Southeastern Louisiana women's basketball team will close out its trip to Colorado with an 8 p.m. (CST) non-conference contest at Colorado State Friday night in the Moby Arena.

Southeastern will be looking to bounce back from a 112-54 loss to No. 21 Colorado to start its trip. The Lady Lions were out-rebounded, 65-30, by the undefeated Buffaloes, who finished with seven players in double figures.
Freshman
Charliee Dugas led the Lady Lions with 12 points and was joined in double figures by junior
Bre Warren, who added 10 points. Junior
Taylin Underwood added nine points and hit the 115
th three-point field goal of her career, moving her into a tie with former teammate
Erica Hernandez for fourth place on the school's career list.
Underwood also led Southeastern with five assists, while freshman
Taz Stinson grabbed a team-high seven rebounds. Freshman
Courtney Dawsey led SLU with two steals, while Stinson blocked a team-high two shots.
Southeastern heads into Friday's contest averaging 57.5 points per game. Underwood leads the team with 18.2 points per game and is tops among active Lady Lions with 2.5 assists per game. Warren (6.3 ppg), Stinson (6.2 ppg), sophomore
Ashailee Brailey (5.3 ppg) and Dugas (4.8 ppg) are the other top scorers.
Two areas in which SLU must improve are turnovers and rebounding. The Lady Lions are averaging 23.5 turnovers per contest through the first six games. Stinson leads the team with 5.7 rebounds per game, however Southeastern has been out-rebounded by an average of 14.3 boards per outing.
SLU has yielded 83.3 points and forced 19.5 turnovers per game. Dugas leads the team with eight steals, while Stinson enters Friday's game with five blocked shots.
Colorado State has split its first six games with all three of its losses coming versus Power 5 conference competition. On Wednesday, the Rams defeated Denver, 76-49, and CSU also has wins over Adams State (76-29) and Omaha (69-42) this season. Colorado State's losses have come to Nebraska (62-59), Oklahoma (70-55) and Washington (101-68).
The duo of Ellen Nystrom and Elin Gustavsson lead Colorado State. Nystrom tops the team with 12.8 points and 4.0 assists per contest, while Gustavsson joins her in double figures with 11.8 points per outing. Gustavsson paces the squad with 5.8 rebounds per game with Nystrom (5.3 rpg) right behind her on the team's rebounding leaderboard.
Southeastern and Colorado State will be meeting for the first time on Friday. CSU will also be the first member of the current Mountain West Conference that SLU has ever faced in women's basketball.
