Eamon Bradley each shot under par to help the Lion men's golf team sit in sixth after the opening day of the Border Olympics Friday at the Laredo Country Club.
Southeastern was two shots off the lead after an opening round 281 (-7), but fell back two spots after shooting three-over par 291 in the second round. The Lions will be paired with McNeese State, UT Arlington and New Mexico State for Saturday's final round, which tees off at 8 a.m. Live scoring, provided by host Houston, will be available at

UH and Baylor both finished with a two-round score of 564 (-12) to finish in a tie for the day one lead. Houston's Matt Scobie, who is competing as an individual, rode an opening-round 64 to the lead in the individual standings, finishing Friday at nine-under par.
Anstiss was the lone Lion to shoot under par in both rounds on Friday. The SLU newcomer backed up an opening round 71 with a 70 in round two to finish the day in a tie for ninth at three-under par.
Brame came out on fire on Friday, shooting six-under par over the first 18 holes – tied for the second-lowest round of the day. The Hammond, Louisiana native's 66 matches Anstiss' final round showing at the Bayou City Collegiate as the lowest round shot by a Lion this spring. Unfortunately for Brame, he carded a 76 in the second round to drop back into a tie for 16
th at two-under par.
Bradley was solid throughout the day. He opened the day with a 71 on the initial 18 holes and backed that up with an even-par 72 in the second round. At one-under par, the multi-time All-Southland Conference selection is in a tie for 21
st.
Junior
Lawrence Allan (+3, T53rd) and sophomore
Paul Obermann (+8, T85th) rounded out the SLU lineup.
