ONEONTA, Ala. – The Southeastern Louisiana University men's golf team wrapped up its second tournament of the fall Tuesday with the conclusion of the GMAC Invitational at Limestone Springs Golf Club.
 
The Lions shot 17-over par over the final 18 holes to finish with a tournament score of 878 (+38). Southeastern finished in 12^th place in the tournament standings.
 
David Marsh was the top finisher for Southeastern, finishing in a tie for 42^nd place at +11 for the tournament. Noah Bumgarner was next for the Lions, carding a +12 – good for a tie for 47^th place.
 
The remainder of the Southeastern lineup – Preston Paulk, Lorenzo Palmieri and Griffin Dorr – all tied for 52^nd with a score of 13-over par for the week.
 
North Alabama shot one-under par in the final round to earn team medalist accolades, finishing two-over par for the week. Queens-Charlotte's Ed Davis (-9) claimed individual medalist honors. SLU's first-round 276 was tied for the second-lowest round of the tournament.
 
Southeastern will take a week off before returning to the course Oct. 6-7 at the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate in Jonesboro, Ark.
