HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana women's tennis team returns to action this week, competing in the Ragin' Cajuns Women's Tennis Classic hosted by the University of Louisiana-Lafayette Friday and Saturday.
Southeastern is coming off a strong performance at the Lady Demon Fall Invite last week at Northwestern State. Junior
Renee Villarreal highlighted the performance by winning the top singles flight in Natchitoches.

Jason Hayes brought half his roster to Northwestern State. The other half of his roster will represent SLU at Louisiana-Lafayette. Sophomore
Margaux Kaltenbacher will pull double duty, playing for the second straight weekend.
In the No. 2 singles flight, freshman
Lucia Bustamante will face UNO's Soledad Calderon in the opening round. Lion freshman
Dany Raygadas will open the No. 4 singles draw versus Anna Spengler of Lamar.
Kaltenbacher will match up with Anna Segarra of UNO in the opening round of the No. 5 flight. Two Lions will be in the No. 6 flight, as sophomore
Avika Sagwal will meet Louisiana Tech's Taly Merker, while freshman
Natalie Duran will also face a Lady Techster in Haley Ballinger.
In the No. 2 doubles flight, Bustamante and Raygadas faces the Lamar duo of Spengler and Andrea Ivanovic. Kaltenbacher and Duran will represent SLU in the No. 3 doubles flight, facing the LSU-Alexandria pair of Sara Andrade and Betsabet Vasquez Hidalgo.
Following this week's action, Southeastern will compete in the UWF Fall Fling on Oct. 17-19 in Pensacola, Fla.
