SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Southeastern Louisiana women's tennis team fell short in a 7-0 loss to Texas State in Southland Conference action Saturday afternoon at the Bobcat Tennis Complex.
The Lady Lions fell to 8-9 overall and 1-7 in Southland Conference action with the loss. Texas State moved to 13-4 this spring with an 8-1 league record.

Morgane Charpenne were the most competitive for Southeastern, eventually losing, 8-4, to Texas State junior Gabriela Rojas and sophomore Berenice Van den Bergh.
The Bobcats won all six singles matches in straight sets. Charpenne, coming off a win on Friday versus UTA, nearly rallied past Rojas, before eventually falling, 6-3, 7-5, on the No. 4 court.
Southeastern will continue its Texas trip on Monday, when it faces UTSA at 1 p.m. in San Antonio, Texas.
