HAMMOND, La. – Five members of the Southeastern Louisiana University women's tennis team represented SLU on the 2026 Southland Conference All-Academic Women's Tennis Teams, released by the league office Monday.
The Lion honorees included
Adriana Tirado (4.0 grade point average, majoring in chemistry), Bente Biema (3.85, marketing),
Taisia Bolsova (4.0, communication),
Aitana Darder (3.77, computer science) and
Panatchakorn Suanarsa (3.70, management).
Bolsova and Darder added to their trophy case, as the pairing was named to the All-Southland Conference team at No. 2 doubles in April. Tirado finished the spring with a team-best 16-6 singles record in her debut season in Hammond.
To be eligible for inclusion on the Southland Conference All-Academic Teams, student-athletes must maintain a 3.25 cumulative grade point average. Each institution is limited to five All-Academic nominees.
