High School: Earned three letters each in football as well as track and field at Springfield … First Team All-District 9-2A athlete, kick returner and defensive back, while also earning second team All-District honors at running back …coached by Spencer Harris…named to the All-State team as a second team athlete selection… in 2007, carried 87 times for 685 yards with three touchdowns during the regular season… also returned two punts and a kickoff for touchdowns…As a junior, rushed for 875 yards, amassed 250 receiving yards, returned two kickoffs for touchdowns, while also recording 35 tackles, four interceptions and 15 pass breakups…participated in the Red Stick Bowl … personal best in the 100-meter dash (10.57).

Personal: Son of Lurena Smith … has two siblings, Sermaine and Latrika … enjoys going to church, playing football as well as hanging out with family and friends … originally came to Southeastern on a football scholarship … majoring in General Studies.
