2014 Outdoor: combined for first (3:17.18) in the men’s 4x400 meter relay event and 4^th in the men’s 400 meter dash at the Tulane Team Challenge…came in third in the 200-meter dash (22.29) at the Carl Knight Invitational…placed 4^th in the long jump at the McNeese Springtime Classic (22-11.25)…combined for a winning time of 3:15.90 in the 4x400-meter relay, placed third in the 100-meter and 200-meter dash (10.64), and third in the long jump at the Southeastern Lion Invitational…combined for a second place time in the men’s 4x400 meter relay and 10^th in the long jump (22-10.50) at the J. Fred Duckett Twilight…placed 8^th in the long jump at the Southland Conference Outdoor Championships…
 
2014 Indoor:  took seventh place in 55-meter dash with 6.58 and placed second in long jump with 7.06 meters at the Cowboy Indoor I….took third place at A-State Invitational in 200-meter dash (22.20) and won first place in long jump with 6.97 meters….at the Southern Miss. Invitational, placed eighth in 200-meter dash (22.32) and fifth in long jump (6.98m)…. Placed ninth in long jump with 7.09 meters at the Southland Conference Championships.
 
2013 Indoor: placed fourth in the men’s long jump (22-01.75) at the McNeese Indoor II.
 
High School: Earned letters in football and track at Walker … a USATF All-American … captained the track and field team for two years … top marks include the 100-meter dash (10.95 seconds), 200-meter dash (21.67) and long jump (22 feet, 3.5 inches).
 
Personal: Born in Baton Rouge, La. … son of Hosea Pate and Chrystal Wright … has three siblings, Hosea, Dacia and Hannah … enjoys collecting stamps and line dancing … majoring in Communications.
