NEW ORLEANS – The Southeastern Louisiana University women's tennis team dropped a 4-0 decision to Houston Sunday morning at the Dillard Tennis Courts.
The loss snapped a three-match win streak for the Lions (3-4). Houston improved to 9-5 with the victory.
The match was started with singles play. The Cougars took straight set victories on the bottom four courts to clinch the match.
On court 1, SLU's
Putri Insani was leading in the second set after dropping the opening set to Maria Szemeshkevich.
Gabrielle Dekkers was up a set on court 2 versus UH's Laura Slisane on No. 2.
Southeastern will play its next four matches at home, starting with a noon match versus Bradley Saturday at the Southeastern Tennis Complex.
