HAMMOND, La. – Southeastern Louisiana sophomore Putri Insani was named to the 2019-20 Louisiana Sports Writers Association All-Louisiana Women's Tennis Teams, which were released by the LSWA on Saturday.

Insani was named to the team as an honorable mention selection. The Jakarta, Indonesia native was a standout performer for the Lions on the top singles and doubles courts.

On the No. 1 singles court, Insani finished the spring with a 7-4 record. She and Ximena Yanez paired for an 8-3 mark on the feature doubles court during dual match play. The duo started off 2019-20 winning fall tournament titles at the Lady Demon Invitational and Iberostar College Cup.

The All-Louisiana recognition was the latest honor for Insani. She was an All-Southland Conference performer following her freshman campaign.

LSU's Taylor Bridges was named Player of the Year, while Tiger coaches Julia and Michael Sell earned Coach of the Year honors. Xavier's Lailaa Bashir was tabbed Freshman of the Year and Mariona Perez Noguera of UL Lafayette took home Newcomer of the Year accolades.

The 2019-20 LSWA All-Louisiana Women's Tennis Teams were selected by the state's sports information directors. SID's were not permitted to vote for their own institution's nominees.
