BAY ST. LOUIS, Miss. – The Southeastern Louisiana golf team will tee off 8 a.m. Monday at the Gulf Coast Intercollegiate Tournament host by the University of New Orleans at Diamondhead Country Club (par 72, 6,769 yards).
                                                                                                      
The tournament field features 10 teams including UNO, SLU, Nicholls, Murray State, UT-Rio Grande Valley, Prairie View A&M, Samford, University of Incarnate Word, North Dakota, and UT Martin.
 
The Lions' team features William Meyers, Logan Kuehn, Connor Wilson, Grant Glorioso and Kris Kerr.
 
Meyers, a senior, will be looking to duplicate his tremendous performance at the LaTour Intercollegiate Tournament two weeks ago. The Baton Rouge, Louisiana native finished tied for second shooting -11 for the tournament including a bogeyless final round of 68 (-4).
 
Kerr, out of Loranger, Louisiana, also had a solid tournament at LaTour. The junior finished -1 under for the tournament shooting 72 (E) in the first round, 69 (-3) in the second round and 74 (+2) in the final round.
 
Kerr enters the tournament leading SLU in birdies with 43 while Kuehn, a junior out of Lake Charles, Louisiana is second with 42.
 
Southeastern will play 36 holes Monday before wrapping up the tournament with the final 18 holes Tuesday.
