HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana Track and Field team signed hurdler Camille McGee, SLU track head coach
Corey Mistretta announced Wednesday.
McGee, out of Fort Worth, Texas but originally from Illinois, in 2019, was ranked #2 in the indoor hurdles in Mississippi and #1 and #3 in the long and short outdoor hurdles.
The hurdler attended Pearl High School in Mississippi from 2017-2019 where she finished third in the 100m hurdles and fourth in the 300m hurdles.
"This young lady is not only an outstanding athlete, but a great student as well, said Mistretta. "As one of the top hurdlers in Mississippi as a junior, we are excited about the growth Camille will experience during her senior season and we expect she will have an immediate impact for the Lady Lions both on the track and in the classroom."
McGee is competing this season for Paschal High School in Fort Worth, Texas.
