HAMMOND, La. – The annual Southeastern Louisiana University Fightin' Lions Golf Shamble is scheduled for Oct. 23 at Carter Plantation in Springfield.
 
All proceeds benefit the Southeastern men's golf program's Green Jacket Club, which serves as the co-host of the event with the Lion Athletics Association (LAA). The event, which consists of four-man teams, begins with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. The entry fee of $125 per person or $500 per team, covers lunch, golf cart, greens fees, plus a tee gift.
 
Hole sponsorship opportunities are also available for $150. A silent auction will also be featured in conjunction with the shamble.
