HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana track team will compete in three different meets this weekend including the McNeese Indoor II Invitational, the Carolina Challenge and the Bruce Lehane Scarlet and White Invitational.
SLU will send 10 distance runners to the Bruce Lehane Scarlet and White Invitational which is in Boston, Massachusetts Saturday. The event is hosted by Boston University at Track and Tennis Center beginning at 11 a.m.
On the men's side, SLU's

Grant O'Callaghan and Thoms Reynders will all be in action Saturday in Boston. For the women,

Lindsey Hutcheson and
Tara Stuntz will compete.
Southeastern will also have six compete in the Carolina Challenge in Columbia, South Carolina Friday and Saturday including
James Benson II (400m),
Armonte Paulk (60m and 200m),
D.J. Ruffin (long jump), Jonathon Sawyer (200m),
Slavko Stevic (high jump) and
Donovan Storr (200m). Storr, Benson, Sawyer and Ruffin will also run in the men's 4x400. The meet is hosted by the University of South Carolina.
SLU will also be in action at the McNeese Indoor II Invitational in Lake Charles, Louisiana starting Friday at 11 a.m. Southeastern will have 26 student-athletes (listed at bottom of story) competing in the event led by reigning Southland Conference Indoor Women's Shot Put Champion
Ashley Davis. The senior from Watson, Louisiana will be in action at approximately 11:30 a.m.
"We've been training several weeks for this particular weekend," said SLU track head coach
Corey Mistretta. "We wanted to take our guys and girls to compete against the best competition we could in their respective events and I'm confident we did that with these three meets."
